Products Description

We specialize in the manufacture and supply of Valve Gear and Consumable Spares for Rock Drills. These include S215 and S25 Valve, Valve Plug, Valve Box, Front Head and Back Head. We also manufacture components for Braking systems used Railways, and Automotive products, in our fully equipped modern machine shop. The 1200 square meters of workshop has Full Overhead crane, and is Fully Air-Conditioned.

We have a Quality Control Department (QCP) – working in accordance with the latest ISO rating and guidelines. This is done independently or within the client requirements / guide lines. All our manufacture codes, or any other specification that requires a third party certificate or inspectorate, an independent third party is called in or the client’s Inspectorate is used.All components go through inspection at each stage of manufacture by both the operators and inspectors. Our equipment is regularly calibrated and checked for any defects. As we are grinding to 5-micron tolerances we need our equipment is defect free.

Factory Description

Derry Engineering is situated in Wadeville, which is primarily an industrial area. We operate state-of-the art facility:

The building was constructed in 1998 and is 1200 sq meters (12916 sq feet) of which 800 sq meters (8611 sq feet) is workshop space and the balance is divided up in to offices, stores and abolition amenities. The entire workshop is air conditioned to ensure that all machined components remain in a stable temperature controlled environment. We are in the process of extending the factory by a further 600 sq meters (6458 sq feet). Derry owns the latest machining technology by Daewoo, Paragon, Studer, and other vendors.
